The tablet usually sells for $249.99, yet Barnes & Noble dropped the price in hopes to selling more tablets. "The Nook" comes in a 100% color touch screen and easy accessibility. Good news to hear that Microsoft is introducing the Xbox 360 sensation, Kinect. Kinect is a hands free controller that enables the user to control aspects of various games with the power of built in sensors. The Kinect  was announced to be incorporated in laptops this year. Windows 8 staff teamed up with Kinect engineers to make this laptop. With over 18 million Kinects sold for the Xbox 360, Microsoft had announced that the beta for the software will be out in late February.

Ever need to organize files on your computer? Well, there are a few tips to help you keep organizes. First of all, label your files by either music, documents, and etc. After labeling, you can put the files in folder labeled what is contained inside of it. For example, a music file will be put in a Music folder. Using a hierarchical system is good, but you really wont need one unless you create a tree chart of some sort. Here are some definitions to further this   explanation:

Tagging: Practice if creating or placing labels on files. This is used in Facebook. People can tag their photos so their friends can see. This is vital in business for important up to date meetings.

Social Bookmarking: A method for users to organize their files. This helps for work or school. Without being organized, you will lose track of important files and data.

We base all of our information on the web. We add and take away information online, also books are outdated. So, more digital technology is created to provide the users with knowledge.

Piracy is a big deal everywhere. Pirated movies, games, theft, and many more are subjected to be breaking copyright; plus breaking the law as doing so. Well, the pirates that we are talking about are the type who go around and steal from ships to make big bucks. ReconRobotics teamed up with Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific to make a new robot that can spy on piracy anywhere. Piracy is mostly in Africa, costing them billions of dollars of goods. The new micro-bot is designed to record and capture piracy. It can survive being thrown out the window, rolled downed the stairs, and throws up to 120 feet. Infrared optics are included in this micro-bot so it can see in the dark.

On April 21, 2011 Sony's PlayStation Newtork was offline. Sony issued for the problem to be fixed, but they said the problem was from an outside source. I personally have experienced this problem with my PS3. The first couple of days when users tried to sign in it said there was an error code and you were forced to signed out. Sony says this problem could have been created by the newer games coming onto PS3 which connected the internet and the actual PS3 itself. The new game Portal could have been the link to the problem. With further investigation, Sony announced that PSN was hacked by a group of hackers called Anon. Anon said that they will not give back the server until everything with GeoHot is dropped and given back. PSN is still down on Tuesday and it may take about another couples days for Sony to take back what is theirs.

On March 31,2011; Sony and Geohot have reached an agreement. The story behind this case was that George Hotz( GeoHot creator) created a program to that allows Sony PS3 users the ability to hack their console. GeoHot allowed PS3 users to use Mods in the game. This first got reported on "Call of Duty" and then many more online games sent in their reports. The Mod gives the player an unfair advantage over other players. Mods on both Xbox 360 and PS3 are illegal and instant ban. The biggest concern was that GeoHot enabled users to create and play pirated games instead of paying up to $60 for a new one. George Hotz claimed that he didn't do anything wrong or intended for people to abuse GeoHot. Due to Sony's actions, George set up an organization to boycott Sony products. So far, there are many followers following George and believe that he is an innocent man that had no intention that his programing will cause a catastrophe.

PodCast

1. A podcast is a recorded or live streamed narrative that a user enables to keep his or her audience informed. Many podcasts are found on iTunes and YouTube.

2. People create podcasts to inform and update people about what going on. It may also be for a fun use for live commentary and the good stuff such as live stream.

3. I have never created a podcast, but I listened to a lot of them. Popular podcasts can be located on YouTube or any other popular website.

4. Tools that can help you create a podcast are some recording devices. Webcams contain a camera and a microphone, so picking up one of these will be necessary. A capture card and a hard drive with free space can be used as well. Lastly a file converter will be needed to convert your audio into an MP3 podcast.

5. If I were to create a podcast, then I would use it for video gaming. Lately on the web, video games are popular and watched a surplus of times. Machinima has over one million subscribers on YouTube. So, live video game commentary will be a great advantage if I were to make a podcast.
