Facebook, Twitter, and the rest of the internet connect many people together. Even though they are far away, the internet brings people closer and together. Jason Russell, along with his crew are using the power of the internet to bring down the worlds most wanted criminal. Joseph Kony is charged with abducting children for his rebellion in Uganda. Kony has abducted more than 30,000 children and forced them to take arms. Russell's plan is to utilize the internet to bring a stop to Kony and his wrong doing. Russell had made a documentary that touched the hearts of over 32,000,000 people in two days(still counting). His plan is to make Kony famous for what he had done and bring a stop to him. The government must bring an issue to topic if more than  15 calls a day are made about it. Jason Russell devised the plan and said it will launch on April 20, 2012; therefore Kony can not resupply his rebellion. This is the first time the internet was used to derive and spread one common goal; to make Uganda liberated from Kony. "Kony 2012" will be one of the biggest movements of the young generation.
