Resident Evil is a well known franchise that brings fear and satisfaction to its consumers for more than 15 years. Recently released, Resident Evil:Operation Raccoon City had been getting a lot of hate towards itself. Many consumers tell CNN, IGN, and other game reviewers that the game lacks what its purpose was. Resident Evil is always a game to be played at night, for the players to experience it to its potential. The game is a horror, which means that the players would have to brace themselves through all levels for surprises and pop up attacks may occur. The reviewers at IGN and CNN gave the game a bad score due to the fact it is more like a Gears of War or Call of Duty experience and not the original feeling of the predecessors. Overall, many gamers were disappointed.
