General Electric is underway to build a solar powered solar plant. The special thing about this solar plant is that the solar panels are thin and effective to power a predicted 400 watt power supply. The managers of the plant said the solar cells in the plants will reach an efficiency of 12.8 percent. The solar panels itself, are developed by PrimeStar, so they will be durable and last long. General Electric will have to beat its competition, First Solar. First Solar sustains an 11.2 percent efficiency. The United States Solar Market grew a good 67 percent since 2009. General Electric stated that the energy that it produces will be majored in space.
